Senior Accepted with $18K Dean Scholarship to TCU Honors!
Former Timarron student and Southlake Carroll Senior, Craig Miller, has earned the TCU Dean’s Scholarship of $18,000 annually and will be attending TCU as an honors student. Mom Cindy says that “it’s all thanks to his ACT score and GPA.” Craig recounts, “I improved my overall ACT composite score by five points on my second try with a 34 in Math and a 33 in Science. Thank you Bobbie and Timarron College Prep!”
By attending TCU, Craig continues a proud family tradition, following his father and uncle’s footsteps. Mom says “this school is the perfect fit for him both academically and in spirit . . . we’re all bleeding purple over here! Way to go Frogs!” Through the honors program, Craig will be paired up with his college professors to do research during his last years at TCU. His major of choice is Finance, possibly followed up by an MBA or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.
Craig is a Southlake resident and the son of Cindy and Blake Miller. His extra-curricular activities include Play it Forward, Scholars & Athletes Serving Others (SASO), Peer Assistance & Leadership (PALs), National Honors Society, and the National Society of High School Scholars. “We will miss him while he’s away, but we couldn’t be happier with Craig’s college choice!”
